Terms of use
Last updated: October 24, 2026.
By using TribuSplit you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
TribuSplit is a free tool to log and split shared expenses. It does not process payments or move money: calculations and exchange rates are indicative, and each group is responsible for checking amounts before paying. Nothing in the app or in the site's guides is financial, accounting or tax advice.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, use it with permission from a parent or guardian.
Your account
You're responsible for what's entered from your account and for keeping your password safe. Guest accounts have no password: if you clear your browser data you lose access, unless you save it with an email.
What you add
The names, expenses, descriptions and payment aliases you add are yours and are visible to the members of each trip. By adding them, you let us store and display them so the app works. Don't add other people's data without their permission, or illegal, offensive or misleading content.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app for illegal activity, to harass others, to try to access other people's accounts or trips, or to overload the service. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Availability and liability
We do our best to keep it running, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses from calculation or exchange-rate errors, service interruptions or payments between users. Inactive or finished trips are deleted according to the timeframes in the privacy policy.
Ads
The service is funded by third-party ads (Google AdSense). See the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll announce it on the site before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without affecting any rights your local consumer protection laws give you.
